Bought a course and cannot download materials: what to do

When you have paid for a training program or digital workshop, you rightfully expect to review the lessons offline or keep them in your personal knowledge base. If saving is restricted by Telegram settings, choose the exact workflow suited to how your course is delivered.

Identify your course delivery format

Course authors on Telegram distribute educational materials in three primary ways:

  1. Private channel with content restriction: The course is organized in chronological posts, but the administrator turned on “Restrict saving content” (no forwarding or saving).
  2. Interactive Telegram bot: Lessons, video links, or PDFs are issued dynamically upon clicking buttons inside a dedicated bot dialog.
  3. Private group or topic chat: Materials are posted in forum topics or discussion threads alongside student questions.

Understanding which format you have determines the exact entry point to use in SpyGrabs.

Workflow 1: Saving individual lessons by link

If you only need a specific video lecture, PDF summary, or cheat sheet:

  • Right-click or tap-and-hold the lesson post in Telegram and choose Copy Link.
  • For private channels, the link starts with https://t.me/c/....
